Broker dropdown closes the moment it opens when adding an MT5 account

TLDR

A new signup cannot connect his MT5 account because the broker dropdown closes the instant it opens, blocking FTUK selection. He has tried multiple times; typing into the field does not help. Until he connects, the FTUK 90-day Pro auto-grant cannot fire, so he stays on Free.

Done when

  • [human] Broker dropdown stays open across browsers - Check: Accounts → Add Account → Forex/CFD → MetaTrader 5 → open the broker dropdown, on Chrome, Safari and Firefox, desktop and mobile - Expect: the list stays open and FTUK can be selected
